Low Water Use Drought Tolerant Plant Lists
The Low Water Use/Drought Tolerant Plant Lists are used by the Department of Water Resources as a regulatory document in all Active Management Areas in both the Municipal and Industrial Conservation Programs of the Third Management Plan. Each Active Management Area has an independent advisory group of plant experts that review all plants submitted for addition or deletion to their individual AMA plant lists. To add or delete plants from any AMA plant list requires a separate application and approval process for each AMA. Forms are available by contacting the AMA.
